Theta Math Club
About us
We believe that we can help kids grow their interest in math through our courses. We teach competition math and problem solving skills to students in second through seventh grade. Theta Math Club can also serve as preparation for MathCounts, AMC8/10/12, and AIME competitions.
Our Mission
Our History
Theta Math was founded as an official non-profit organization in 2018 by Wanlin Li, Sophie Cai, and Jarrad Li. All money collected from students is either spent on supplies or donated to charity.
2024-25 Presidents
President - Katherine Li
Katherine started at Theta Math in elementary school as a student. Now as a teacher and senior at Syosset High School, Katherine loves passing along her knowledge as an experienced math competitor to give back to this wonderful community. Her goal is to teach her students not just math, but how to love it, and how to find a real team of friends who share the same passion for math.
